Koushi (Lattice)
A simple grid pattern. One of the oldest and most fundamental Japanese patterns.
Origin
One of the most basic and ancient patterns, consisting of perpendicular lines forming a grid. The word "kōshi" refers to latticed screens used in traditional Japanese architecture.
